MYTH: Feeling good is a bonus—not a requirement. You treat vitality as a reward. But poor sleep, gut issues, and emotional flatlining are killing your performance. When in fact the only way you will get the performance you want in all the areas of your life is to feel good first.
MYTH: If I stop pushing, I’ll lose my edge. You rely on pressure to perform. But urgency dulls your leadership and drains your presence, leaving you making bad decisions, being reactive and making mistakes.
MYTH: If I slow down, I’ll fall behind. You mistake movement for progress. But without space, you keep rebuilding from chaos. When in fact moving slower makes you faster, but slowness doesn't really look like what you think it does.
MYTH: This is just who I am / Burnout is just part of my process. You’ve normalised breakdowns as part of your growth. But your identity is unconsciously tied to survival. You've been told that you must outwork and out hustle to make it, everyone knows you as the person that does the most, that pushes on no matter how fried you are, and letting go of that feels terrifying. You've got to grieve that version of you and become the fullest expression of who you've always been underneath all that burnout and hustle.
